Raytheon’s SI&T Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Directorate is seeking a Radar Systems Integration Engineer who will support systems integration activities primarily in Woburn MA in support of radar capability development, integration and test activities. You will be responsible for engineering activities that include systems integration, verification, validation, test, exportability techniques, and data analysis for radar development events. You will work independently and side-by-side with multidisciplinary engineering team members. What You Will Do: Participate in integration and test planning/execution, executing verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations. Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined tasks milestones/schedules. Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for supporting integration, verification, and test activities. Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness reviews). Confirm test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and ensure compliance with Department of Defense technology release and export licensing policies. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Executing integration, test methodology or other simulation-based environment, data analysis, and skilled with basic scripting and/or software development (MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Unix, Linux (Red Hat Linux) Systems engineering experience specifically including integration, verification, validation and system testing. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience using String/HWIL test equipment and integrating or regression testing radar systems. Experience with MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), Unix, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification and test analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software. Knowledge of radio frequency (RF) electronic hardware configuration and installation, software installations on hardware devices, network configurations, operations of software in String/HWIL facility, and basic networking principles. Familiarity with radar signal processing concepts, theory, and modeling. Knowledge of radar algorithms and determining radar performance. Experience with creating integration test procedures, test plans, test scripts, developing and maintaining configuration control documentation, and navigating through test setup schematics. Experience with domestic and foreign military sales products. Knowledge of agile and DevSecOps processes, implement (or maintain) agile methodologies, and agile tooling such as JIRA and Confluence, and support execution of the team’s backlog including performance analysis and issue investigation. Experience participating in daily team standup meetings, sprint reviews, Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings, retrospectives, and implementing best practices for predicable/repeatable workflows. Individual integration skills, team interaction skills, and willingness to perform local and non-local travel.
