Overview
Sr Systems Eng, Sr. Radar Systems Integration Eng – Raytheon/SI&T Long Range Radars Department, supporting radar capability development, integration and test activities in Woburn, MA. Roles include systems integration, verification, validation, test, exportability techniques, and data analysis for radar development events. The candidate will work independently and with multidisciplinary engineering teams. What You Will Do
Participate in integration and test planning/execution, execute verification/validation events, and perform scenario-based analysis to identify and resolve technical observations. Conduct system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications. Execute integration plans and testing activities according to defined milestones/schedules. Integrate and test radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility to support integration, verification, and test activities. Collaborate with cross-program leads/stakeholders to generate test approaches, ensure test-setup readiness, and participate in key processes (peer, gate, and test readiness reviews). Ensure test and evaluation processes are conducted according to established procedures for software and hardware and comply with DoD technology release and export licensing policies. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Experience executing integration, test methodology or other simulation-based environments, data analysis, and scripting/software development (MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Unix, Linux). Systems engineering experience including integration, verification, validation and system testing. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required for eligibility. Qualifications We Prefer
Experience using String/HWIL test equipment and integrating or regression testing radar systems. Experience with MATLAB, Linux (Red Hat), Unix, and Shell scripting for testing analysis; configuring electronics and software installations on hardware devices. Knowledge of RF hardware configuration, software installations on hardware, networking concepts, and test setups in String/HWIL facilities. Experience with radar signal processing concepts, theory, modeling, and radar algorithms to assess performance. Experience creating integration test procedures, test plans, scripts, and maintaining configuration control documentation; navigating test schematics. Experience with domestic and foreign military sales products. Experience with agile and DevSecOps processes, JIRA/Confluence, and backlog execution including performance analysis and issue investigation. Experience participating in daily standups, sprint reviews, PI planning, retrospectives, and implementing best practices for repeatable workflows. Strong individual integration skills, team interaction, and willingness to travel (local and non-local). Certifications in CompTIA Network+ and/or CompTIA Security+. What We Offer
