Overview Maintenance Reliability Specialist at Unilever – Chicago facility where Hellmann’s mayonnaise is produced.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze equipment failure modes and root causes to prevent future issues.

Develop and implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.

Conduct reliability testing and statistical analysis to assess system performance.

Collaborate with design and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.

Document findings and create reports for management and technical teams.

Train maintenance crews on technical standards and sustainability of basic conditions.

Support the implementation of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of reliability initiatives.

Participate in safety or quality reviews and ensure corrective actions are carried out.

Support the implementation of the new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Support major maintenance repairs.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required. Degree in an engineering field preferred.

At least three (3) years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

At least one to two (1-2) years of experience in industrial maintenance and/or reliability.

Knowledge of maintenance strategies.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Proven track record of implementing improvement ideas.

Experience using a CMMS system.

Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this position is 75,800.00 - 113,600.00 USD. Unilever considers a wide range of factors in compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business needs.

Bonus:

This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI):

This position is LTI eligible.
