A distinguished, fine-dining hospitality group in the Twin Cities is seeking a
Beverage Director
to lead all aspects of its award-winning beverage program. This is a rare opportunity for an accomplished beverage professional with a deep passion for spirits—especially whiskey—and refined taste in wine, cocktails, and overall guest experience. Base pay
$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Oversee and elevate the full beverage program across all outlets, ensuring creative direction and profitability Lead menu development, costing, and strategic pricing while maintaining brand integrity Manage ordering, inventory, and cost of goods sold (COGS) with precision and accountability Partner closely with culinary leadership to craft thoughtful pairings and guest-driven experiences Train, mentor, and inspire the bar and service teams on product knowledge, technique, and presentation Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum 3–5 years of fine-dining or luxury hospitality leadership experience in beverage management Extensive spirits expertise —with a strong foundation in
whiskey
and premium craft cocktails Sommelier certification
or
WSET accreditation
strongly preferred (but not required if spirits mastery is evident) Proven ability to manage budgets, control inventory, and drive profitability Local to the Minneapolis–St. Paul area (or with existing ties to the market) This is a confidential search
