Desktop Engineer – Onsite, North Phoenix (M–F, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

We’re looking for a

Desktop Engineer

to take ownership of our desktop infrastructure and ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing systems across the organization. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting end users, and improving IT environments through thoughtful design and implementation. What You’ll Do

Design, implement, and maintain desktop infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security. Define and enforce desktop standards, policies, and procedures across the organization. Provide advanced technical support for escalated desktop and endpoint issues. Manage desktop imaging, deployment, and updates using tools like

SCCM

and

Intune . Support mobile device management, cellular services, and endpoint security. Partner with vendors for hardware and software maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Contribute to system documentation, project plans, and change management efforts. Administer enterprise and third‑party applications (e.g., ticketing systems, VDI platforms, secure file transfer). Support end‑user technologies including

Windows 10 ,

Office 365 ,

printers ,

AV systems , and

telephony hardware . What You Bring

3+ years of experience in desktop engineering or related IT support roles. Strong knowledge of

Windows 10 ,

Office 365 , and endpoint security patching. Proficiency with

desktop imaging and deployment tools

(SCCM, Intune). Experience supporting

DaaS

or

virtual desktop environments . Understanding of

Active Directory ,

GPOs ,

MFA technologies , and

certificate management . Working knowledge of

NIST

or

CIS

security standards and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with IT asset management, license control, and change management processes. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Certifications such as

Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

or

MCSE . Background with

ITIL

processes or enterprise collaboration tools (Teams, WebEx, Zoom). Experience with VPNs, network printing, and Wi‑Fi troubleshooting. Why You’ll Love This Role
