Director of Operations
to lead the day-to-day execution of a high-volume
503A sterile compounding facility

You’ll oversee all facets of sterile compounding, fulfillment, and shipping — ensuring efficiency, compliance, and growth in a dynamic, patient-focused organization. Position Highlights

Lead all aspects of sterile compounding, packaging, fulfillment, and shipping operations. Design and implement process improvements to increase speed, quality, and efficiency. Partner with the
Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)
to ensure full regulatory compliance (USP
795 ,
797 ,
800 , DEA, DSCSA). Maintain multi-state licensure readiness and inspection compliance. Manage multi-shift operations and ensure optimal staffing coverage. Lead, coach, and develop teams across compounding, quality, and fulfillment functions. Track and report KPIs including output, accuracy, turnaround time, and error rates. Apply
Lean and Six Sigma principles
to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Business Development to support growth initiatives. Qualifications
7+ years of progressive leadership in
pharmacy operations, compounding, or healthcare manufacturing
(503A/503B preferred). Proven success in managing
high-volume, multi-state
sterile or mail-order pharmacy operations. Deep understanding of USP
795 / 797 / 800 , DEA, DSCSA, and state regulatory requirements. Skilled in process improvement and performance management methodologies. Experienced in managing large, multi-shift teams and achieving measurable KPIs. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Why You’ll Love This Role
