Contract Negotiation, Commercial Agreements, SaaS, Contract Lifecycle Management About The Opportunity: We are a growing shared services platform that leverages technology and AI and are looking for an experienced contracts attorney to join our transactional team. If you thrive on innovation and love commercial agreements, the contracting process, and contract management, this could be an excellent opportunity for you! Responsibilities: Review and negotiate a broad range of contracts, including supplier, vendor, SaaS, marketing, NDA, lead, subsidiary, trade association, agent and intercompany agreements. Assist in developing and updating contract playbooks that reflect industry best practices and support company legal workstreams. Work efficiently and collaboratively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and outside counsel as needed. Provide pre-litigation support regarding contract disputes and assist with vendor audits and investigations. Drive contract management efficiencies by leveraging technology and process enhancements to improve workflow. Maintain and update templates and playbooks for commercial transactions to ensure consistency and compliance. Continually enhance the effectiveness of legal contract support while upholding quality and company standards. Support other legal and business initiatives as assigned. Must-Have Skills: JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas or another state bar. 5-10+ years of combined law firm and/or in-house transactional legal experience. Experience in reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide variety of commercial contracts (including NDAs, vendor, intercompany, trade association, agent agreements and more). Proficiency with contract lifecycle management, related software, and innovative legal technologies. Excellent knowledge of core contract principles, confidentiality, privacy, and data security laws. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation; ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with or knowledge of the insurance industry. Familiarity with HIPAA and applicable data privacy laws relevant to commercial agreements. Exposure to the use of AI or advanced software tools for contract review and workflow management. Seniority level:
