Senior Associate Power Platform Developer
We are seeking a Senior Associate Power Platform Developer to design, build, and scale business applications and reporting solutions on Microsoft Power Platform. This role supports LinkedIn’s Global Business Organization (GBO) with a focus on system design, analytics, and business strategy to streamline reporting capabilities and align data strategy.
The role can be based in Sunnyvale/Mountain View, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Chicago, or Washington DC. The work location is hybrid, performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by business needs.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and improve business applications, providing architectural guidance and driving Power BI best practices across LinkedIn
Architect and deliver enterprise-scale applications using Power Platform (Canvas, Model-driven, Power Automate, Power Pages, PCF, Generative Pages) integrated with Dataverse and external systems
Provide technical leadership in solution design, architecture documentation, and strategic decision-making across cloud and business application landscapes
Partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support business solutions and processes on Microsoft Power Platforms
Develop and maintain scalable data assets, dashboards, and automated reports to enable effective decision-making
Develop a deep understanding of key sales metrics for LinkedIn’s SaaS lines of business and drive alignment on source-of-truth datasets
Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to support data processing and consumption needs
Execute global analytics initiatives, including solution design, roadmap development, prioritization, and implementation
Write SQL/Python queries to extract and analyze data, and present findings in Power Platform applications
Identify opportunities to scale insights through automation and self-serve mechanisms
Build cross-functional relationships to drive project success and communicate findings to stakeholders at multiple levels
Qualifications
5+ years of experience developing enterprise business applications
4+ years of experience with Power Platforms (Canvas and Model-driven apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, PCF) and JavaScript, C#, or TypeScript
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative fields, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience with relational database queries (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
Experience mentoring developers or leading teams
Knowledge of end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting processes, including forecasting, headcount planning, and spend management
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex strategies into actionable recommendations
Comfortable with data and ambiguity; able to engage in both operational tactics and big-picture strategy
Independently and proactively seeks information, solves conceptual problems, and delivers results in challenging situations
Adaptable to change and excited by working in a rapidly evolving team
Highly analytical, with experience solving real-world business problems using advanced Excel models, SQL, or Power BI
Ideally, you’ll also have
Microsoft certification: PL-400 Power Platform Solution Developer Associate
Additional certifications: PL-200 (Functional Consultant), PL-300 (Power BI Data Associate)

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
