Responsibilities and expectations for this role center on collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software products in an agile environment while driving continuous improvement in performance, quality and efficiency. Responsibilities
Collaborative partner: Working with our [GRM, Solaria, Fintech] team of scrum masters, product owners and fellow engineers, you’ll tackle technical challenges and ensure quality as we move from legacy technologies to next-generation applications Comprehensive problem-solver: Manage the end-to-end development of software products, analyze issues at the system level, and implement effective solutions Skilled technical engineer: Document and lead the implementation of technical features, improvements and innovations Forward thinker: Proactively seek ways to improve performance, quality and efficiency beyond simply fixing problems Qualifications
A minimum of five years of software engineering experience A background in business operations and strategies, with a focus on business IT A history of translating client requirements into technical designs Agile engineering capabilities and a design-thinking mindset Collaboration, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to manage time and prioritize work with a globally distributed development team Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to explain decision-making to non-engineers Understanding of IT concepts, business operations, design and development tools, system architecture and technical standards Proficiency in software engineering languages and tools, including Java and RESTful services Ability to explain how modifications affect different parts of a system to non-engineers Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience About Us

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
