Benderson Development (The “Company”) has engaged Major, Lindsey & Africa on an exclusive basis to conduct a search for a Real Estate Attorney – Leasing.
Company: Founded in 1949, Benderson Development is one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the nation. The Company’s portfolio currently includes more than 1,000 properties totaling over 55 million square feet in 41 states. The diverse Benderson portfolio includes retail, office, industrial, hotel, residential, and land holdings.
Overview: Reporting to senior leadership, the Real Estate Attorney – Leasing will serve as a strategic partner in managing and negotiating lease-related matters across Benderson Development. This role requires a detail-oriented and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly integrate with cross-functional teams.
Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of legal experience at a reputable law firm and/or corporate in-house legal department, including a background in contract negotiations and commercial real estate leasing.
Location/Relocation: Sarasota, FL. This is an in-office role and relocation assistance will be provided.
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
