We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at a leading manufacturing facility in Seabrook, NJ. This role is responsible for driving a positive workplace culture, managing employee relations, and supporting unionized and non-unionized staff. The ideal candidate is assertive, approachable, and thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead employee relations, union grievances, and workplace investigations.
- Develop and implement engagement and culture-building initiatives.
- Oversee audit preparation and compliance activities.
- Supervise one HR Generalist and a Recruiting Coordinator.
- Collaborate with plant leadership and management teams.
- Focus on strategic HR initiatives rather than administrative tasks.
- Minimum of several years' HR experience in a manufacturing environment
- Union experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations and foster a positive culture.
- Assertive, resilient, and approachable communication style.
- Must reside within one hour of Seabrook, NJ (no relocation offered).
- Salary range: $90,000 - $125,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
- Bonus eligible up to 16% of annual earnings (based on company and individual performance)
