Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to Partners & Lawyers in the litigation practice and ensure that the litigation process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Manage calendar schedules, meetings/appointments/telephone and conference calls for litigation attorneys, and tracking legal deadlines
Managing files/documents and preparation of meeting materials
Prepare legal documents and court bundles for litigation process
Typing, editing/amending, and proofreading of legal documents
Updating records, replying to correspondences/mails and keying in daily time sheets
Filing legal documents with the appropriate court and agency, and maintaining an organised filing system
Maintain lawyers’ client contact list
Coordinating travel arrangements for litigation attorneys and assisting in preparation for court appearances and depositions
Requirements:
Minimum an ‘O’ level or ‘A’ level or Diploma in Business Admin or LCCI Private Secretarial Certificate
Minimum 1 to 3 years of litigation secretarial experience in a law firm
Good command of written and spoken English
Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
Accurate and meticulous
Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and IT skills
