Supervise a team of analytical staff and manage, oversee, coordinate, and maintain major policy documents and activities relating to the implementation of Rail and Transit Programs (R&T). Handle programs such as California Senate Bill 125, Transit & Intercity Rail Capital Program (TIRCP), and other State and Federal funded programs related to R&T within DLA's portfolio. The following are listed in the posting: Position: STAFF SERVICES MANAGER I Special Requirements: Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle. Resume is required. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. The SOQ should describe how your education, experience, and training qualify you for the position. The SOQ serves as documentation of writing ability and should be 1-2 pages in length with 12-point Arial font. Applications submitted without both an SOQ and Resume will not be considered. SOQ and eligibility: Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Staff Services Manager I exam. If you do not have current eligibility, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible. To apply for the exam, search by the classification title in CalCareers. Verification of Minimum Qualifications will be completed prior to interview/appointment. If basing eligibility on education, include unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification.
