We are seeking an experienced Compensation Transformation Lead to manage the Compensation Workstream as part of a major, multi-workstream Oracle HCM implementation program. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities within the Compensation track, working closely with the HR PMO, fellow workstream leads, and cross-functional stakeholders.
This is a high-impact opportunity to influence and shape a core component of a strategic HR transformation initiative.
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Program Duration: 2-Year HR Transformation Program
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Compensation workstream within the broader HR transformation program.
Maintain project plans, ensure accurate status reporting, and drive successful delivery of milestones.
Align compensation initiatives with overall program goals, timelines, and governance.
Represent Compensation in program meetings, sharing updates, risks, and mitigation plans.
Coordinate interdependencies with related workstreams (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Recruiting).
Track and report on KPIs and success metrics specific to compensation transformation.
Drive testing, implementation, and post-go-live reviews of the compensation module and policy changes.
Experience & Qualifications
8 years of experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, or HR transformation, with significant project/program management exposure.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale initiatives within multi-workstream program structures.
Deep knowledge of compensation strategy, design, governance, and compliance.
Strong program management expertise (planning, execution, reporting, stakeholder alignment).
Skilled in managing stakeholders and navigating cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with HR systems and compensation platforms (Oracle preferred).
Strong analytical mindset, leveraging internal metrics and external data sources effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience in global, matrixed organizations.
Highly organized and detail-focused.
Strong communicator with the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels.
Balanced expertise in compensation and structured program delivery.
Collaborative, adaptable, and results-driven.
Education
Bachelor's degree (BA) required.
Project Management (e.g., PMP) or HR certifications (e.g., CCP) are a plus.
Location & Work Arrangement Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role. While flexibility is offered, candidates should be able to work onsite as needed for key meetings, workshops, or team sessions.
