Who will you be working with? Wabtec Germantown facility operates in a team environment in the digital electronic and component field, integrating advanced manufacturing technologies with precision assembly techniques. Team members collaborate across engineering, production, and quality assurance to deliver innovative products that meet the changing demands of the transportation industry.
How will you make a difference? As the Integrated Business Leader, you will be responsible for SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, and Planning). You will partner with cross-functional teams such as finance, operations, and engineering to create and manage robust demand forecasting, supply chain alignment, and capacity planning. You will monitor plant and supplier capacities, short and long-term sales and inventory forecasts, and implement continuous lean improvement methodologies. This position requires strong analytical skills and cross-functional communication, with the ability to proactively identify planning gaps and solve problems to drive operational excellence.

What do we want to know about you?
Bachelor of Science from an accredited university or college or relevant work experience
Minimum of 2 years of cross-functional experience in operations/planning/electronics manufacturing in a high-mix low-volume environment
Strong working knowledge ERP/MRP
Experience leading operational change in a complex and diverse environment
Demonstrated ability to tactfully challenge the status quo
Solid conceptual and analytical thinking and proven ability to solve complex tasks with high ambiguity, under time pressure
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization
Highly organized with the ability to deliver results through others
What will your typical day look like?
Develop, lead, and execute business SIOP/PSI strategy to improve customer value and drive revenue/margin growth
Partner with commercial, finance, operations, and engineering teams to drive the planning process, ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, and align scenario plans
Responsible for demand planning with all required components to meet commercial demand, and balance demand with plant/supplier capacities
Forecast short- and long-term sales and inventory levels based on customer orders, material input, capacity constraints, and COGS across product lines
Drive Lean culture and continuous improvement to develop and grow assigned personnel

Regularly required to talk and hear
Regularly required to walk and/or stand throughout the day
Typically works in a temperature-controlled office environment with infrequent exposure to production floor conditions
You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
