Provider Network Analyst (Functional Program Analyst 3)

Overview
Provider Network Analyst (Functional Program Analyst 3) role with the State of Washington. Positions are within the Rates, Forms, and Provider Network Division, based in the Tumwater Office. This recruitment may be used to establish a qualified pool of candidates for future vacancies. Responsibilities
Compile, organize, analyze and interpret healthcare data from multiple sources to deliver findings through reports and presentations for various audiences. Review network access reports to create trend analyses and summaries for decision making, including disruption analysis for assigned markets and networks. Investigate data to identify patterns and trends; review provider organizations and systems to support program analyses. Provide analysis and interpretation of technical healthcare data. Participate as a team member on the binder team, providing information on issues with binder filing; provide written instructions and guidance to filers regarding document issues. Conduct research and analysis for low-impact network access proposals in response to consumer inquiries and referrals. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Six (6) years of professional work experience in health & disability insurance, self-funded plans, or provider relations; or experience related to healthcare claims payment configuration, credentialing, utilization processes/systems, and/or experience analyzing data using business intelligence software and creating data visualizations for diverse audiences. A degree in business administration, public health, public administration, or related field from an accredited institution (or foreign equivalent). If a degree is from outside the United States, credential evaluation may be required. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet multiple deadlines, including seeking guidance from leadership when needed. Preferred/Desired Qualifications
Industry designations such as CHDA or RHIT; experience drafting, analyzing, researching, or applying provider and facility contracting provisions. Intermediate Microsoft Power BI skills to create reports and data visualizations; experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual data reports for state or federal reporting to ensure compliance with healthcare statutes (e.g., Title X, Medicaid, Medicare). Healthcare analytics experience supporting reporting requirements for state or federal programs. Compensation & Benefits
