Sr. Manager, Procurement Systems & Reporting
HP Hood LLC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Procurement Systems and Reporting. This role focuses on managing procurement systems, processes, analytics, reporting, and related value-creation activities within Corporate Procurement.
Location: Lynnfield, MA (salary range varies by skills, experience, and location). The role may report to the Procurement Leadership Team and will have direct reports.
Overview The Senior Manager, Procurement Systems & Reporting is a newly formed role responsible for optimizing procurement systems, processes, training, analytics and reporting, communications, and related initiatives to build a best-in-class Procurement function. The role collaborates with Sourcing Category leads, suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders to design solutions and work practices that meet organizational needs.
Responsibilities
Procurement Systems Management: Oversee and manage procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Datawarehouse) and ensure alignment with business objectives. Partner with IT PMO to ensure system updates, configurations, and integrations are executed smoothly. Lead projects to implement new procurement tools or enhance existing systems to improve efficiency. Ensure end-to-end procurement process workflows are optimized within the systems.
Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and reports to provide visibility into procurement activities and KPIs. Conduct spend analysis and supplier performance evaluations. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all procurement reports and systems. Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on procurement performance, savings, and risk management. Lead minority and diverse supplier programs and reporting.
Compliance: Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of compliance and operational excellence. Provide audit support as requested. Establish and execute mechanisms to monitor and report on compliance risks and proactively address gaps within Corporate Procurement.
Procurement Support: Collaborate with the Procurement Leadership Team to define and support strategic procurement initiatives. Support supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives with reporting insights and data analytics. Create and optimize procurement templates and apply continuous improvement techniques. Lead annual cost and department budget planning processes. Manage assigned projects. Other responsibilities and duties as required.
Leadership & Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement systems analysts, coordinators, and interns. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration with cross-functional teams (IT, finance, quality, supply chain) to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
10+ years of experience within Supply Chain, Sourcing or Procurement.
3+ years of manager/direct supervisory experience.
Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analyses.
Prior experience with SAP, Ariba, and TraceGains systems is preferred.
Prior experience with Strategic Sourcing systems is preferred.
Project Management Certification is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., SAP S4 Hana, SAP Ariba) and reporting tools (DataWarehouse, Excel, Power BI).
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
Strong project management skills to support system implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present complex data to senior stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Compensation & Benefits The reasonably anticipated pay range for this position is $135,300 - $156,300. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. The pay range for this position is $135,300 - $156,300 USD.
