Clinic Financial Analyst I/II - Ambulatory Care

Position Overview
Clinic Financial Analyst role located in the Ventura County Health Care Agency Ambulatory Care department. The analyst supports financial and operational data management, prepares fiscal and budget reports, develops KPIs, and performs service line analysis to inform leadership decisions.

Salary Program Administrator I : $2,771.07 – $3,879.87 biweekly
Program Administrator II : $3,103.84 – $4,345.81 biweekly
Duty Summary
Execute data extractions from electronic health record databases (e.g., Cerner) for KPI development, service line analysis, pro‑forma and other fiscal reporting.
Prepare and compile financial and statistical reports to improve fiscal operations and identify program needs.
Plan, organize and implement financial operational improvements within Ambulatory Care Clinics.
Interpret policies and procedures; provide guidance to clinics on financial matters.
Design financial tools and methods to monitor performance improvement.
Represent County in contacts with governmental or community agencies and cooperate on policies, procedures, operations.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, health care, business administration or related field.
For Program Administrator I: 3 years recent experience in fiscal management, including 2 years in healthcare setting.
For Program Administrator II: 4 years recent experience in fiscal management, including 2 years in healthcare setting.
Advanced skill level in Excel.
Desired Skills
Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Program management, budgetary preparation and analysis, fiscal management.
Organization, staffing, administrative data processing.
Public relations, personnel administration, ProForma financial statement development.
Ability to analyze administrative and fiscal problems, prepare reports and recommendations, and communicate effectively in public.
