Annual Bonus and Stock options About FAIRWAYiQ FAIRWAYiQ is a high-growth SaaS + hardware company transforming golf-course operations through real-time data and automation. Our platform combines proprietary hardware and enterprise SaaS analytics to help golf-course operators optimize pace of play, cart utilization, and maintenance efficiency. We’re scaling quickly and preparing for our next stage of growth. This role will build the company’s financial foundation and grow into the future CFO role. The Opportunity We’re seeking a hands-on Controller who can lead all aspects of accounting and FP&A while building scalable processes that support rapid growth. The ideal candidate has experience across hardware, hardware-enabled SaaS, and recurring-revenue SaaS models and uses technology - especially AI-driven tools - to streamline finance operations and reporting. This position offers a clear path to CFO within 12–24 months as FAIRWAYiQ completes its Series A and scales beyond. (NOTE: see specific application instructions at end of the description. Only applicants that follow these instructions will be considered). Key Responsibilities

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring GAAP compliance, timeliness, and accuracy Manage revenue recognition for SaaS and hardware-enabled contracts, including multi-element arrangements under ASC 606 Oversee cost accounting, COGS, inventory, and depreciation for hardware operations Lead AP/AR, payroll, and expense management, supported by an Office Operations Manager or outsourced accounting firm Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Build and maintain driver-based financial models linking bookings, ARR, revenue, and cash flow Develop dashboards and metrics for performance management (ARR growth, gross margin, CAC payback, etc.) Partner with the CEO on board reporting, investor updates, and operating plans Conduct scenario analysis to support strategic decisions and capital allocation Systems & Process

Evaluate, implement, and manage financial systems (QuickBooks, SaaSOptics/Maxio, Bill.com, etc.) Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Hardware, and Operations to align financial data with business performance Support due diligence preparation and data room organization for Series A financing AI & Automation

Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline accounting and FP&A processes, improving speed, accuracy, and reporting quality Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency through data automation, workflow integration, and predictive analytics in financial operations Leadership & Growth

Build and lead the finance function as the company scales, including future hires such as accounting staff or analysts Serve as a key business partner to the CEO, contributing to strategy, budgeting, and long-term planning Qualifications

CPA or equivalent accounting qualification strongly preferred 7–10+ years progressive accounting/finance experience Proven success in hardware or hardware-enabled SaaS and recurring-revenue SaaS environments Strong command of GAAP, ASC 606, cost accounting, inventory management, and gross-margin analysis Demonstrated FP&A experience: modeling, forecasting, and producing board-level reports Hands-on with QuickBooks, SaaSOptics/Maxio, Bill.com, and data-visualization tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Databox) Comfortable leveraging AI and automation to increase accuracy and speed in finance operations Excellent communicator able to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial audiences Strategic mindset combined with willingness to dive into details Nice to have: a love for golf or prior experience in the golf industry Equity Competitive benefits package Why FAIRWAYiQ
