Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, empowers volunteers across the country to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research to find better treatments with fewer long-term side effects and, ultimately, cures. Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (Rally) is seeking an energetic individual that is eager to work in the non-profit arena and wants a career in development and events. Rally is: all about the kids! mission driven and dedicated to investing in the best childhood cancer research a grassroots organization built on a foundation of accountability and powered by volunteers a fast-paced learning environment a close-knit team with an “all hands-on-deck” attitude open minded toward new, innovative ideas serious about working hard to make a difference and serious about having fun while we’re doing it! Job Purpose The Rally Kid Coordinator is responsible for leading Rally Foundation’s engagement with Rally Kids and their families in Georgia and surrounding states, while supporting local fundraising and awareness campaigns, volunteer activities, and hospital programs. Reporting to Rally’s Senior Manager of Rally Families and Advocacy and working closely with the development team, this role requires a servant leader with excellent communication skills, strong organizational ability, and a heart for families facing childhood cancer. This candidate must be flexible, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment. Compassion, integrity, and humility are essential. Responsibilities
include but are not limited to: Programs
Lead the growth of 4 Quarters 4 Research by expanding the school fundraising program to new Georgia and surrounding states schools at all grade levels. Recruit, support, and manage Rally Families participating in the 47 Faces of Rally campaign; assist with all components to ensure that revenue goals are met. Serve as the main point of contact for Rally programs administered at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Arthur M. Blank Campus Lead the Rally Good Meals program, including weekly meal coordination, pantry stocking, logistics, and relationship management with hospital staff. Recruit and steward new business partners, and community groups to support Rally’s mission. Develop and coordinate volunteer opportunities for Rally Families to get involved meaningfully. Rally Kid Program
Serve as the lead contact for Georgia-based Rally Kids and their families, building and maintaining deep, long-term relationships. Prepare and ship welcome packets to all new Rally Families upon registration. Schedule and participate in weekly hospital visits, and coordinate visits for other staff members. Organize and manage hospital snack and support service programs. Coordinate Rally Kid involvement in signature events, including Rally on the Runway, Day of Pampering, and Day of Play, Rally Benefit Bash and otherse. Lead Rally Kid and Family participation in third party scheduled events Event Support

At Rally, our culture is to collaborate and approach our role on the team with an “all-hands-on-deck” attitude. This means you may occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of your job for which Rally will provide the necessary training. Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree- focus in Child Life, Education or related field a plus Must be proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. Regular duties include data entry, digital communication, and written correspondence. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging with Rally Kids, families, volunteers, and partners. Forward thinker; problem solver; organized Self-motivated and a self-starter Excellent communication and writing skills Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis Strong organizational and research skills An ability to work as a team as well as independently Eagerness to learn Must be able to travel locally several days a week, including visits to hospitals, schools, event venues, and community partners. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation . Ability to work some nights and weekends based on Rally Kid activities, family engagement, and event schedules. Flexibility is required to adjust work hours on short notice for hospital needs, family opportunities, or urgent events. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation, in support of events, program supplies, and deliveries. This includes tasks such as loading/unloading materials and setting up/taking down event equipment. To apply
