Job Overview
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
is a revenue-generating sales position working with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships. The ASM for the Midwest Business Center must live in or near Nebraska or be willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
Forecast retail sales objectives by vehicle line.
Ensure dealer orders meet market demand and manage monthly vehicle scheduling.
Ensure maximum production capability within the area.
Additional Responsibilities
Review minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and provide consultation on improvement opportunities, review, and analysis of dealer financial statements, and consult with dealers on areas of opportunity to improve their retail operations.
Ensure advertising and marketing initiatives are consistent with the corporate message and branding guidelines, and ensure proper levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships.
Motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance while meeting internal goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
2+ years of sales or marketing experience.
Lives in or near Nebraska or willing to relocate.
Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
Skilled in Microsoft Suite applications.
Experience in a new car automotive dealership environment (preferred).
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment (preferred).
Excel in building positive working relationships (preferred).
Entrepreneurial individual with a history of leadership and achievement (preferred).
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals (preferred).
Compensation Salary: $80,000 to $122,800, pay will depend on several factors including experience and location of position.
