Accounting Manager
to join the team in Ballwin, MO. This will be a

position after the initial 90-day training period. Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an
Accounting Manager
to oversee our company’s financial, administrative, and HR operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage day-to-day accounting while also supporting payroll, HR compliance, and administrative functions. You are someone who: Has a strong foundation in accounting and understands the importance of accurate, timely reporting. Enjoys working closely with people — from employees to leadership — and ensures processes run smoothly. Can lead and develop a small team while still rolling up your sleeves. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial data and variance analysis. Partner with operations to maintain inventory accuracy and proper costing of materials and finished goods. Manage cash flow and banking relationships. Provide analytical insights to business leaders to inform company priorities. Administration Management
Supervise day-to-day office administration and ensure efficient support processes. Implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and recordkeeping. Oversee vendor relationships related to office administration, benefits, and insurance. Support leadership with reporting and special projects as needed. HR & Payroll
Manage payroll processing and related tax filings. Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, and personnel files. Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Serve as a resource for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and policies. Assist with recruitment and hiring coordination as needed. Supervise 1–2 team members in accounting/administration. Partner with the President, sales, HR, and operations teams to ensure accurate information flow across the company. Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA a plus). 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution. Solid understanding of GAAP, cash management, and sales tax compliance. Experience with budgeting, variance analysis, and cost accounting. Strong Excel/ERP skills; able to improve processes and reporting efficiency. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions. Why Join?
