Overview
Regional Nurse Manager (RN required) with experience in assisted living is needed to provide onsite support, mentorship and training to our assisted living and memory support communities primarily located in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. This individual should be a passionate, experienced clinical leader dedicated to mentoring teams and ensuring regulatory compliance and person-centered care in a mission-driven environment. Responsibilities
Regular travel within the region, providing responsive, hands-on support to communities Assist with covering nursing position shifts for roles which are temporarily vacant and/or where the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse is temporarily out of the community Provide onsite training for community wellness teams, department heads, managers and community associates as needed Lead and support community nursing departments in daily operations, compliance and quality assurance programs Qualifications
Registered Nurse with an active license in Connecticut and Massachusetts At least two (2) years of experience with the elderly in health care, elderly services or assisted living; experience with residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment and promote a culture of teamwork and customer service Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and lead in promoting and implementing process changes and improvements Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Persistent follow-through skills. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously Must have reliable means of transportation to provide on-site support to communities and the ability to travel regularly within the region Pay & Benefits
The annual salary for this position starts at $120,000 with bonus structure, based on experience, along with mileage reimbursement and a comprehensive benefits package. The role also offers ongoing leadership development and growth opportunities within the organization.
