As a Lead Solution Architect within our Data & AI Practice, you\'ll leverage a client-centric approach to understand our client’s challenges and opportunities to deliver solutions and services that make transformative change and deliver high value business outcomes. You\'ll engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and contribute to shape the strategic direction using data platforms, reporting, self-service analytics, real time intelligence and AI engineering. Using the power of modern data platforms, visualizations, advanced analytics, machine learning, IOT/Digital Twins and applied intelligence, we help clients gain business insights to optimize their operations, drive innovation, and make more empowered decisions. Lead solution architecture for data and AI initiatives, engaging with delivery teams and client stakeholders to provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts. Play a key role in Avanade\'s sales process by creating solutions that innovate, inspire and win new business. Shape high-level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals in collaboration with subject matter experts. Provide coaching and mentoring as a senior member of the Avanade technical community to motivate and inspire junior colleagues. Translate complex technical concepts into audience-appropriate language and value-based outcomes for senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams. Engage early with clients and/or sales teams to support origination, deal qualification, requirements capture and solutioning; build strong client relationships to become a trusted advisor; participate in Deal Reviews and client presentations. Collaborate with Data & AI leadership to shape current and future offerings, accelerators, and background IP to support GTM activities. Drive the evolution of best practices and methodologies for AI development, including data management, model training, fine-tuning, and deployment. Lead the development of data and analytics platforms, real-time intelligence and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Fabric and Databricks. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Data and AI technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into solutions. Identify and execute cross-industry solutions-at-scale for the region, including Data Migration, Automation Migration, Visualization/Reporting and Core Data Platform Modernization and Governance. Drive measurable and sustained growth across the Data & AI Solution Area and integrate Data & AI into other Global Solution Areas, offerings and go-to-market initiatives. Qualifications
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and Databricks. Experience in Data, Applied Intelligence, Automation, IOT and related technologies. Aware of channels to market and how to work in a Microsoft and partner ecosystem to ensure Customer Success. High energy intent to help clients understand the fast-moving AI industry, product and service evolution. Experience working with stakeholders to create technical visions, high-level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large programs of work involving AI concepts with emphasis on scaling AI across enterprises. Deep understanding of responsible data platform and migration principles, practices and regulatory frameworks; articulate how to address risks while delivering impactful solutions. Ability to create design artifacts and present them for approval at architectural forums with multi-disciplined stakeholders from engineering to executive levels. Understanding of modern Data & AI capabilities such as structured/unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, AI, GenAI and related analytics fields. Experience designing and delivering large-scale Data Platform solutions using Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.; design for performance, security and reliability. Comfortable engaging and leading sales and business development opportunities with clients. You may include additional qualifications as applicable to the role. About Avanade
