Full-Time Paralegal (Hybrid) — Estate Planning / Trusts — Santa Barbara, CA
Role Summary You’ll be a core member of our private-client team, drafting estate plans (wills, revocable/irrevocable trusts, POAs), supporting trust administration/funding, and coordinating with clients and advisors to deliver a five-star experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare first-draft and final-form estate planning documents using templates/automation
Coordinate trust funding: asset schedules, beneficiary designations, title changes
Manage probate/trust administration tasking, timelines, and filings (as applicable)
Maintain organized digital files; prepare client signing packages and closing sets
Liaise with clients, CPAs, and financial advisors professionally and proactively
Qualifications
3–7+ years as an estate planning or trust administration paralegal
Mastery of document prep and version control; superb grammar and accuracy
Comfortable with Clio (or similar PM), HotDocs/Lawyaw, DocuSign, and SharePoint/NetDocuments
Client-service orientation; calm under deadlines; impeccable judgment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
$70,000–$90,000
(DOE) + bonus eligibility
PTO, CLE/dues, wellness stipend
Hybrid schedule after onboarding (typically 3:2 in-office)
