Join us in redefining possibilities. The Licensed Optician provides exceptional customer service and helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs. They deliver high-quality eyewear and ensure customer satisfaction. Major Duties & Responsibilities: Welcome customers and set expectations Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses Lead in optical knowledge and customer service Take and record measurements accurately; adjust/fit eyewear to meet standards and customer needs Assist with complex product needs and prescriptions Use technology accurately and efficiently; possess strong product knowledge Proactively resolve issues, ensure customer satisfaction, and exceed expectations Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Achieve store KPIs and competency goals Maintain store appearance and safety practices Continuously learn and improve Adhere to company policies regarding discounts, promotions, and inventory Basic Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent State Licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills Knowledge of store merchandise and current fashion trends Basic math skills Ability to use technology including POS systems and tablets Open to new technology and change Preferred Qualifications: Previous customer service and retail experience Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commitment: We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment, celebrating diversity, and providing equal opportunities regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or other characteristics.
