THE POSITION
Conducting autonomously an ethics proceedings in compliance with the FIFA Code of Ethics
Investigating ethics proceedings, including review and analysis of financial records, use of forensic audit techniques, and development of financial investigative strategies
Communications and requests for information to interested/accused parties within an ethics proceeding
Support on organizing witness interviews and witness statements, coordinating with other departments or external experts as needed within ethics proceedings
Coordinate with other FIFA departments and experts providing substantial support to the FIFA Ethics Committee
Support the Ethics Committee by preparing case files, legal analyses, and draft decisions to facilitate effective deliberations
Assist the chairperson of the FIFA Ethics Committee in meeting preparation
Assess legal aid, witness protection, and witness/victim psychological support requests, coordinating with other departments or external experts as necessary
Draft Final Reports within an ethics proceeding
Assess testimonial and documentary evidence, including financial and audit records, and weigh its credibility and probative value according to FIFA Code of Ethics standards
Gather relevant FIFA precedents and CAS jurisprudence to properly draft a Final Report and a decision of the Ethics Committee
Draft decisions of the Adjudicatory Chamber
Contribute to developing workflows, templates, and best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency
Identify and suggest measures to prevent violations of the FIFA Code of Ethics and safeguard the integrity of football worldwide
Collaborate with the Head of Department to create efficient ethics proceedings, including processes, workflows, and templates
Ensure worldwide recognition of the Investigation Department and the Judicial Bodies Subdivision
Assist in preparing reports related to the activities of the ethics department
Participate in workshops with FIFA employees, member associations or confederations on Judicial Bodies-related issues

Excellent legal drafting and presentation skills in English
Proficiency in legal drafting in Spanish or French is an asset
Good knowledge of football governance and FIFA regulations, with proven experience in FIFA’s Disciplinary and Ethics proceedings
Ability to conduct analysis and draw conclusions
Strong ability to analyze financial data, audit findings, and forensic accounting reports
Excellent editorial skills
Good planning and organisational skills
Solid IT know-how
Ability to work unsupervised and precisely; work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Good analytical skills; conscientiousness, accuracy and quality
Punctuality; proactive; good communication skills; team player with good interpersonal relations
Open in passing information; motivated, autodidact, dynamic and proactive
Cooperativeness; flexibility; ability to adapt to an international and multicultural environment; pleasant and empathetic
Law university degree (Bar Exam); Post-Graduate in Sport Law is an asset
Training or certification in white-collar investigations (including forensic accounting) or prior experience in an audit firm is an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions, dealing with disciplinary and ethics matters in a sports governing body
Experience handling bribery and corruption cases, and working with compliance, finance teams, or external auditors is a strong asset
Native/C2 in English; proficiency in any other FIFA language (F / ES) is an asset
Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel / Jira
