Overview
Senior Account Director – Global Marketing Delivery (Telecom) Role Overview: A leading Telco with an in-house agency has partnered with a global marketing operations provider to provide marketing operations through a global delivery model. The Global Marketing Operations provider is looking for an Account Director to work with the in-house agency, managing the global delivery team and leading the agency’s mobile and telecom content studio. The role acts as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams operating from offshore locations. Responsibilities include overseeing integrated content production, campaign development, client management, and driving business growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling. Collaborate with creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver innovative digital content that meets client objectives and industry standards. Experience in managing offshore delivery teams for content production and distribution is required.
Responsibilities
Serve as the main contact for mobile and telecom client teams and offshore delivery teams
Manage offshore teams delivering content production, campaign development and distribution
Direct campaign planning, execution, and optimization with global delivery teams
Be an integral part of the in-house agency/studio for a leading telco and work with diverse teams to scale and provide value to the telco marketing teams
Foster client relationships and satisfaction
Identify and pursue opportunities for account expansion
Coordinate with internal teams for seamless project delivery
Integrate industry trends and best practices into content solutions, including Gen AI and automation solutions
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Minimum 12 years of experience related to the job description.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in account management within an advertising agency or in-house studio
Experience in a global delivery model and managing offshore delivery teams in centers like India/Philippines
Ability to work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
Understanding mobile and telecom industries is a plus
Extensive experience in advertising, marketing, and creative strategy with focus on mobile, telecom, and digital content
Experience working in a global delivery model with offshore teams
Proven track record in leading high-performing teams and executing campaigns
Award-winning campaign experience with leading brands in telecom, technology, and digital sectors
Advanced degrees and certifications in communication, business, or related fields
Major Clients Handled (examples): Telecom operators, technology companies, global brands in mobile communications, and digital service providers
