Overview
We are seeking an experienced CFO to lead financial strategy, planning, and operations for a privately held company. This role partners closely with the executive team and ownership to guide accounting, budgeting, risk management, audits, and compliance, while providing insight to drive long-term growth and profitability. The CFO oversees all financial operations and collaborates with leadership across departments to support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead company-wide financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
Track cash flow, assess financial performance, and recommend corrective actions to optimize results.
Prepare and present financial statements, analyses, and reports for senior management and the Board.
Oversee Finance department and staff; coordinate with external auditors and agencies.
Manage corporate banking relationships, debt compliance, and capital planning.
Partner with operational teams and IT to integrate financial systems and support business planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred; CPA strongly preferred
15+ years of senior-level finance experience, including strategic planning and execution
Strong knowledge and
experience within the manufacturing/distribution industries
a MUST
Deep knowledge of GAAP and experience implementing evolving accounting standards
Very strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Strategic thinker, detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
Highly proficient with MS Excel, Accounting Software programs (ERP)
