Our client within the medical manufacturing industry is seeking a strong Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, as a Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist our client with daily accounting operations, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate general ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, sales tax compliance and filings, and other related duties. Responsibilities
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and assist with closing of the books Assist in the preparation of the monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows Strategic business partner who leverages relationships with Senior Level Operational Leads to drive financial planning Post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations Provide audit support as needed Leads robust business planning through accurate budgeting/forecasting Performing monthly analytics to explain actual vs. projected expenses Responsible for financial plans to understand the revenue and cost drivers of a business Summarise and contextualise financial results Identify & lead process improvement Ad-hoc analyses in support of the Controller and CFO Skills and experiences
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline CPA strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting & finance experience Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel using pivot tables and v-lookups Experience using ERP software – SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics suite Personal attributes
Team player with a positive “can-do” attitude Ability to work autonomously with little direction Ability to upward manage hiring manager overseeing project delivery Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Why Imagine?
