West Monroe West Monroe is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Data Engineering & Analytics team. In this role, you will collaborate with our clients to address their most complex needs, working alongside a team of highly skilled data engineers and architects. Responsibilities

Apply statistical techniques like regression, properties of distributions, and statistical tests to analyze data. Utilize machine learning techniques such as clustering, decision tree learning, and artificial neural networks to streamline data analysis. Develop advanced algorithms and statistical models using regression, simulation, scenario analysis, and modeling. Explain complex models (e.g., RandomForest, XGBoost) in a manner accessible to non-technical stakeholders. Visualize and present data insights using tools such as Power BI, ggplot, and matplotlib. Mine company databases to uncover critical business insights and communicate findings to relevant teams. Create efficient and reusable code for data improvement, manipulation, and analysis. Manage project codebase using Git version control. Develop scalable processes, tools, and dashboards for central use. Build strong collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the organization, including leading task forces on major initiatives. Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field. 2+ years of relevant experience in data science and analytics. Experience with NLP and Computer Vision tools and libraries, such as OpenCV, spaCy, Transformers, and Attention models. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira. Experience with web services such as Databricks, Spark, Oracle Cloud, and/or Azure. Proficiency in at least one version control tool, such as Git. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R. Proficiency in big data packages such as PySpark and/or SparkR. Proficiency in data cleaning packages including Python: pandas, numpy; R: dplyr, stringr, lubridate. Proficiency in machine learning packages including Python: mlflow, scikit-learn, pyspark.ml; R: mlflow, caret, sparklyr/ml_*. Experience with statistical and data mining techniques such as GLM/regression, random forests, boosting, text mining, and social network analysis. Competence with relational databases, including SQL and/or NoSQL. Coding and scripting experience with familiarity in visualization tools like Power BI. Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts to a broad audience. Ability to travel 30 to 50% to client sites. Hybrid role: 1 to 2 days a week in office.
