We’re seeking an accomplished

Vice President of Operations

to lead and scale operations across the

Mid-Atlantic and Southeast U.S.

for a fast-growing, multi-site ophthalmology platform. This senior leader will oversee clinic operations, regional leadership teams, and post-acquisition integration while ensuring operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and strong physician alignment. Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Direct day-to-day operations across multiple ophthalmology practices, surgery centers, and satellite clinics throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast region. Team Development:

Lead, coach, and develop Regional Directors, Practice Administrators, and cross-functional teams to deliver on key business objectives. Performance Management:

Drive regional KPIs across patient experience, clinical efficiency, revenue cycle optimization, and surgical growth. Integration:

Oversee onboarding and operational integration of newly acquired practices, ensuring cultural alignment and process consistency. Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with the executive team on market growth initiatives, annual business plans, and performance improvement projects. Physician Relations:

Build strong, collaborative relationships with physician partners to optimize clinic operations and ASC utilization. Compliance & Quality:

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as internal quality and safety standards. Financial Accountability:

Manage regional budgets, improve operational efficiency, and support financial targets through proactive management. Qualifications

Required:

8+ years of recent operational leadership experience within a multi-site

ophthalmology provider organization

(retina, cataract, comprehensive, or optometry). Proven success leading multi-state or multi-site operations in a growth-oriented healthcare environment. Deep understanding of ophthalmic practice workflows, ASC operations, EMR systems (NextGen, ModMed, Compulink, etc.), and RCM processes. Demonstrated experience integrating acquisitions and driving operational improvement. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across physician, clinical, and corporate teams. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, MHA, or related advanced degree preferred. Employment details
