The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Program Specialist to join our team of professionals. Responsibilities

Provides administrative support to the Office of International Affairs programs, including contacting prospective students with information about the programs, answering phone calls, and coordinating contact with clinical sites when needed. Assists in the collection of supporting application materials from applicants and students in accordance with FERPA for international programs. Creates students' files with all revised required program documentation after applications are received. Responsible for creating FIU's Office of International Affairs badges for new students. Assists in collecting and preparing hospital forms required by affiliated clinical sites. Distributes and collects preceptor evaluations; collects clinical rotations feedback surveys and weekly checkups from students. Prepares and distributes program completion documents to students. Performs other duties as assigned; the omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning logically related responsibilities. Responsible for submitting Letters of Recommendation (LORs) to electronic residency application services. Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of office or related experience coordinating functions of an office or department. Preferred/Desired Qualifications

Desired Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web applications such as Zoom. Job Details
