PROGRAM SPECIALIST (EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION) (AT-WILL) Qualifications
Master's Degree in Special Education or School Psychology preferred. Experience creating Individual Education Programs (IEPs), along with the ability to evaluate an IEP for legal compliance, is required. Minimum five years of experience in special education programs. Specialized knowledge of eligibility determination, eligibility under IDEA and California Code of Regulations/ Ed Code, and special education programs and support for students with disabilities. Evidence of active involvement in district and/or school site special education roles and responsibilities. Credentials: Valid K12 Special Education Teaching Credential(s); or Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential; or Health Services Credential; Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing School Psychology; An Administrative Services Credential or Administrative Services Eligibility Certificate required Education & Credentials
