Product Owner (Hybrid) - 25774 at Mission Technologies, a division of HII. This role supports operations and growth strategy with emphasis on the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Work is performed in a hybrid environment with some onsite work 2-3 days a week on customer site and travel up to 25% to support customers CONUS and OCONUS as necessary. Essential Job Responsibilities

Establish, foster and strengthen relationships between the company and targeted government customers. Function as a task area lead and integrate directly into the customer’s daily operations. Understand our technology / capabilities and champion them accordingly. Own the customer experience from start to finish. Collaborate with company analysts, development, and engineering teams to ensure delivery aligns with customer targets and timelines. Act as the focal point for pushing capabilities to the customer. Ensure the customer is aware of relevant DevSecOps pipeline touchpoints to accept new updates, features or capabilities. Work with the DCSA account team to develop and implement marketing and business plans, operational roadmaps, and action plans for identified opportunities. Contribute to the development of new, competitive proposals and expand future opportunities with existing customers. Identify new market opportunities and target markets. Document and maintain opportunities in company pipeline tools. Develop customer relationships and maintain knowledge of customer plans, programs, and general market intelligence. Develop an external network of solution partners and providers. Collaborate with internal marketing and engineering departments. Support identifying, pursuing, and capturing new business opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD). Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications

Security Clearance: A current Secret level U.S. Government security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required. 9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or related; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. Minimum of 9 years experience in large-scale government technology projects, agile development, and/or big data. Experience directly managing complex technical projects and/or programs. Understanding of budget practices and acquisitions process within organizations or established relationships with people who do. Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Understanding of customer buying teams and how to sell to individual influencers. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to speak in a public forum. Excellent interviewing skills including active listening and empathy. Participation in the full lifecycle of Business Development, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid/no-bid analysis, RFI / Market Responses, etc. Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice CONUS and OCONUS. Ability to work on customer site 2-3 days a week in Hanover, MD. Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes as needed. Preferred Qualifications

Top Secret level clearance is a plus. DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required as directed by the customer. Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies and Cyber Security. Technical background sufficient to determine system requirements and collaborate with engineering and management to ensure accurate design and estimating (asset, but not required).
