$100,000 – $135,000 per year Overview
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations in a precision machining environment. This role ensures production schedules are met, quality standards are maintained, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and proven experience in managing teams and processes. Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations Oversee production processes and shift performance Implement LEAN, A3 Problem Solving, 5-S, TPS, and VSM strategies Develop and execute plans to meet production goals and deadlines Manage workforce scheduling and attendance Collaborate with planning, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams Identify and resolve production issues Analyze production data and identify improvement opportunities Drive improvements in quality, efficiency, safety, and cost Develop and update SOPs and work instructions Provide technical support and training Lead root cause analysis using 8-D, Ishikawa, and Fishbone techniques Create and manage ERP routings and technical documentation Review and update process routers and manage part revision changes Support tooling and work holding design Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) and capital project initiatives Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field 5–10 years of experience in production management, preferably in precision machined metals Experience with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies ERP system experience Strong communication and leadership skills Compensation
Base salary range: $100,000 – $135,000 per year Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance No additional forms of compensation (e.g., stock options, equity, profit sharing) Salary range is consistent across all locations Medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees Term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and additional voluntary benefits 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching Personal Time Off (PTO) offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours per year 13 paid holidays annually Up to 6 weeks of paid parental leave (prorated based on hire date) Paid sick leave where applicable by state law Wellness benefits including mental health support and employee assistance programs Professional development and educational assistance available Flexible work arrangements are not available for this position No transportation, commuting, or additional unique benefits are offered Working Conditions
