Responsibilities
Propose, develop, and integrate test methods, tools, techniques, and procedures for the Mainframe Modernization Program
Execute test strategies and plans, including manual and automated testing, coverage analysis, and defect management
Collaborate with business analysts and leaders to understand requirements and ensure compliance with funding rules and business specifications
Test functional and non-functional requirements for payment and financial systems
Provide expert-level support and testing guidance for complex software and data systems
Qualifications
Minimum of six years of information systems experience in complex test planning across platforms
Professional experience supporting system modernization or transformation initiatives within a structured software testing environment
An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
Ability to coordinate cross-team testing efforts and perform regression testing
Understanding of legacy system transformations, ideally ERP or cloud-based
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge and recent hands-on experience in test automation principles and quality assurance practices
Experience with testing hybrid on-prem and cloud environments, APIs, and legacy systems
Familiarity with enterprise test management tools such as Microsoft DevOps
Experience estimating resources and schedules for complex system development efforts
Strong skills in quality assurance and various testing types in the software development life cycle
