The Learning & Development (L&D) Lead will create, implement, and oversee training programs to enhance capabilities in manufacturing and quality control and assurance operations. This position ensures that all employees—whether new hires or seasoned team members transitioning to new roles—receive structured and effective on-the-job training and have access to digital and formal in-person skills development opportunities. By maintaining and improving skills profiles, the L&D Expert will help employees understand their competencies and address skill gaps through targeted training solutions. The role combines instructional design, training delivery, digital learning, and administrative support, all aimed at fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

On-the-Job Training (OJT) Design and implement structured OJT programs for new hires in manufacturing operations, quality control (QC), and quality assurance (QA). Develop transition plans and training for experienced employees moving into new roles. Develop training plans and interventions for underperforming employees and teams. Partner with supervisors and team leads to monitor the effectiveness of OJT programs. Skills Profiling & Development Build and maintain skills matrices for all incumbents in roles under manufacturing operations, QC, and QA. Conduct skills gap assessments and create training roadmaps for individuals and teams. Facilitate discussions with employees to help them understand their skills profiles and career development opportunities. Instructional Design for Digital Learning & Compliance Training Convert SOP/GMP training into digital learning resources, and maintain the content updated. Coordinate annual compliance and mandatory training calendar, ensuring timely rollout and completion. Track, monitor, and report compliance training progress across teams. MyTalent (Cornerstone Learning and Performance) Platform Support Provide daily end-user support for MyTalent Performance and MyTalent Learning tools. Deliver training sessions to individual contributors on how to effectively use MyTalent Performance for goal setting, performance management, and skills development planning. Training Delivery Design and facilitate both face-to-face and virtual training programs focused on professional and soft skills, with a special emphasis on supporting individual contributors with a high school degree. Apply blended learning approaches to reach diverse learning styles and operational needs. Measure training effectiveness using feedback tools, assessments, and performance outcomes. Maintain training records and databases; generate learning and compliance reports. Support L&D-related projects, initiatives, and cross-functional requests. Perform additional duties aligned with L&D strategy as assigned. Key Performance Indicators

Training Completion Rate: Percentage of new hires and incumbent employees who successfully complete required on-the-job training, skills assessments, and annual compliance courses within deadlines. Skills Gap Reduction: Rate of improvement in employees’ skills profiles, quantifying how many employees reduce their identified skills gaps over time thanks to targeted training interventions. Digital Training Adoption: Assesses the percentage of employees actively engaging with eLearning resources (e.g., SOP/GMP modules) and usage intensity of platforms like Cornerstone Learning and Performance. End-User Support Satisfaction: Support request resolution speed for users of Cornerstone Learning and Performance, confirming consistent and effective daily support for learners. Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: 3–5+ years in Learning & Development, Training, or HR roles, preferably in manufacturing or operations. Experience designing and delivering OJT, skills assessments, and blended learning solutions. Familiarity with compliance training and manufacturing practices (SOPs, cGMP) is an advantage. Skills: Strong facilitation and communication skills (virtual and in-person). Proficiency with digital learning platforms, LMS/LXP systems (Cornerstone Learning expertise a strong plus). Ability to build training content (eLearning design experience preferred). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work with diverse learners, especially non-degreed individual contributors. Instructional Design & Delivery – Ability to create clear, engaging, and effective learning resources. Analytical Thinking – Aptitude for assessing skills gaps and developing structured learning plans. Collaboration & Influence – Comfortable working across levels, from frontline employees to leaders. Adaptability – Flexibility to shift between strategy, hands-on training delivery, and administrative tasks.
