Responsibilities Provides research application review and complex administrative support within the Office of Research Subject Protection (ORSP); performs a variety of detail-oriented preparation, processing, proof-reading and analysis of materials related to the Institutional Review Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and/or Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).
Qualifications Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of one (1) year full-time experience in clinical research, regulatory-related, or health care-related field; or
Associate’s degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in clinical research, regulatory-related, or health care-related field; or
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in clinical research, regulatory-related, or health care-related field.
Note
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
At least two years experience with analyzing and processing IRB applications
Experience using electronic IRB submission systems
Current certification as IRB coordinator, manager or professional
