Position Highlights

Obstetrics and Gynecology Department consists of specialists whose focus is women’s health.

Responsible for general gynecological medical care for women and provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system.

Focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems, with emphasis on conditions specific to female anatomy, including breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders.

Treating and counseling women throughout pregnancy, including prenatal diagnoses and postpartum care.

APC role spans the adult lifetime of women’s care and needs.

Provide complete obstetrical prenatal care.

Conduct family planning and well-woman exams.

Provide vaccinations and screenings, including gynecologic and breast cancer screening.

Treat menstrual disorders, gynecologic problems, and menopause-related concerns.

Perform in-office procedures common to gynecologic conditions and contraception, at a level appropriate to the practice.

Collaborate with supervising OB/GYN physician in a shared practice model.

Required Qualifications

Must have completed residency and be practicing, or be in residency when applying.

Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency, or fellowship program upon hire.

Licensed in the State of Texas.

Board Certified and/or Board Eligible.

Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $278,500 to $484,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based on experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Optum/UnitedHealth Group complies with all applicable minimum wage laws. In addition to salary, benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution. Benefits eligibility varies by role and location.
