Position Highlights
Obstetrics and Gynecology Department consists of specialists whose focus is women’s health. Responsible for general gynecological medical care for women, but also provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system. Concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of general health problems, with focus on ailments specific to the female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders. Focus includes treating and counseling women throughout their pregnancy, from prenatal diagnoses to postpartum care. The role spans the adult lifetime of women’s care in a shared practice model with supervising OB/GYN. Complete obstetrical prenatal care Family planning Well-woman exams Vaccinations and screenings, including gynecological cancer and breast cancer screening Treatment of menstrual disorders, gynecological problems, and menopause In-office procedures as related to gynecological conditions and contraception Responsibilities
Provide general gynecological medical care for women and care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system Perform in-office procedures within your skill level related to gynecologic care Collaborate closely with supervising OB/GYN in a shared practice model Required Qualifications
Must have completed residency and be practicing or in residency when applying Graduate of an approved training program from an accredited medical school, residency or fellowship program upon hire Licensed in the State of Texas Board Certified and/or Board Eligible Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $278,500 to $484,500 annually based on full-time employment. Total cash compensation at target. Pay varies based on experience, location, and other factors.
