Our firm is seeking a talented
Litigation Attorney
with
2 to 8 years of relevant experience
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a passion for advocacy, and the ability to manage cases independently, from pre-suit investigation through trial. Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, court appearances, and trials Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and correspondence Take and defend depositions Work closely with partners and clients to develop case strategies Manage client communications and expectations Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations Maintain current knowledge of litigation trends and legal developments Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active and in good standing with the Connecticut Bar 2–8 years of litigation experience (civil, commercial, municipal or general litigation preferred) Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Trial experience is a plus, but not required What we offer
