Overview
We are seeking a
hands-on Accounts Payable Supervisor
to oversee daily AP operations in a
high-volume, fast-paced environment . The ideal candidate is a
self-starter
with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payables functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative team setting and wants to make a direct impact on accounting operations. Base pay range : $85,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Oversee the processing of approximately
7,000 invoices per month , ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and appropriate approvals. Review and post AP transactions to the
General Ledger
while maintaining compliance with company policies. Prepare and analyze
AP aging reports , research discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding items. Coordinate
EDI payments
and maintain vendor relationships, including key partners such as Sysco. Oversee and prepare
annual 1099 filings
and ensure timely submissions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice or payment issues promptly. Support
month-end close activities
related to Accounts Payable, including accruals and reconciliations. Identify and implement
process improvements
to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
strongly preferred . 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience , including supervisory experience. Background in the
restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry
highly preferred. Proficiency with
Restaurant365
a major plus. Strong understanding of
General Ledger postings , reconciliations, and reporting. Proven experience managing
high-volume AP operations
and preparing
1099s . Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment . Preferred Traits
