GF Piping Systems . The Project Execution Manager is responsible for planning and scheduling highly specialized projects from conception to execution. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal sales and project stakeholders to manage external customer communications, documentation, and order/fabrication fulfillment to satisfy ongoing project deliverables and deliver customer satisfaction. Previous experience on utility or large-scale construction projects preferred. Responsibilities
Collaborate with existing production, planning, logistics, and project management teams to fulfill ongoing project deliverables. Read and understand customer specifications and effectively communicate requirements to internal parties. Create, compile, and transmit submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders to customers via construction management portals. Plan and facilitate project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks. Prepare agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries. Integrate schedules or changes from project team into local production and order fulfillment systems and work with planning teams to resolve or reprioritize conflicts. Identify conflicts between customer and manufacturing schedules and escalate issues through management and project teams. Regularly issue reports to the project management team on current statuses and forecasts. Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and propose solutions. Make decisions within limits of authority and escalate larger risks to management. Derive added value to customers through clearer forecasting, faster order turnaround time, and fewer production errors. Commit to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and neighbors. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Environmental Management System (EMS). Other duties as assigned. Your profile
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM-related field (Engineering, Construction, Physics, Mathematics) or Business Administration OR equivalent years’ experience Three to five years’ industry experience in construction management or contracting Exposure and use of a construction project management system (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Prolog, PMWeb, etc) Exposure to the CSI specification system.
