The ideal candidate lives in the Minnesota, Western Wisconsin area or the surrounding region. You will work as a Territory Sales Manager, creating and expanding sales relationships with assigned distribution accounts in the upper Mid-West region (MN, ND, SD, and Eastern Iowa). This position is a home-based, remote sales role. Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within assigned sales territory. Responsible for securing, maintaining and growing business with customers. Direct one-to-one communication with customers, present and prospective; may involve managing broker(s) in the region. Performs field promotion work and development of new accounts. Demonstrates products and assists in the best application of products. Collaborate with customer sales teams and reps as needed. Contacts prospects and explains features and merits of products; holds customer sales meetings as needed. Analyzes records of present and past sales, trends and costs, revenue, and obligations incurred. Interprets accounts, trends, and records to management. Responsible for closing sales transactions. Services accounts and manages relationship regarding pricing, product warranty claims, receivables, etc. What We Need From You

Qualifications

Must be able to travel frequently (30-40%), including some overnight travel as needed. Demonstrated initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation and verbal). Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to function independently and as part of a high-performing team. Must have a valid driver’s license. Education and Experience

BA/BS degree preferred in business, sales/marketing or related field 2-3 years of previous sales experience Relevant industry experience is preferred What You'll Get From Us
