The ideal candidate lives in Columbus or Cleveland, OH, or surrounding area. You will work with Commercial Broadline Distribution, covering the Ohio and Allegheny Valleys. This is a home-based remote sales position. Responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans, both volume and profit, within assigned sales territory. Secure and maintain distribution of products and maintain effective agreements. Engage customers one-to-one, present and prospective. Perform field promotion work and develop new accounts. Demonstrate products and assist with best application. Explain features and merits to prospects using persuasive techniques. Analyze records of sales, trends, costs, revenue, and commitments. Interpret accounts, trends, and records to management. Close sales transactions. Service accounts and manage relationship regarding pricing, warranty, receivables, etc. Qualifications
Must be able to travel frequently (30‑40%) including overnight travel as needed. Demonstrated skills in initiative, problem solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication (written, presentation, verbal). Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to function independently and as part of a highly performing team. Valid driver’s license. Education and Experience
BA/BS degree preferred in business, sales/marketing or related field. 2‑3 years of previous sales experience. Relevant industry experience preferred. Benefits
