Responsibilities
Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
Programming and installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Perform take-offs from project drawings. Create, document and track RFIs.
Design assist and provide feedback; document daily reports and project progress.
Communicate project and team member issues/concerns to management.
Create and manage project schedule; integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates.
Guide and mentor technicians.
Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance required.
Key Requirements:
Requires a valid driver’s license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.
Education:
HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours); Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; an additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
Required Progressive Experience:
8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs; 3 years of the above experience focused in electronic security systems; strong oral, written and presentation skills; demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams; strong time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives; MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus; must be able to travel 50%.
Desired / Advantageous Qualifications:
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch systems, Windows OS, and related certifications).
