The Datacenter Security Operations Manager will be part of the CO+I Physical Security team, accountable for physical security operations at datacenters and related facilities within the applicable region, collaborating with vendor security guarding staff to meet security requirements and provide security capabilities, mitigate risks, and respond to residual risks. This role supports risk analysis and root cause analysis reporting to internal and external stakeholders and leaders, and offers opportunities to accelerate career growth in physical security and global program management. Security Program Management: Oversee the implementation of physical security policies and procedures at applicable datacenters, ensuring the vendor guard force has the resources and information to meet Microsoft and customer requirements to protect people, information, and critical infrastructure. Security Operations & Risk: With minimal assistance, analyze security threats, alerts, or risks, escalate to the critical incident response team and/or external authorities as needed, implement security protocols for protection of personnel and assets, and maintain security programs within responsibilities. Collaboration: Partner with datacenter operations, security systems, and other stakeholders to ensure secure and continuous operations while maintaining a One Team, One Microsoft environment. Program Maturity: Continuously improve the efficiency and maturity of the physical security program, use data to recommend strategies, optimize resources (including budget management and forecasting), and implement solutions to simplify processes. Security Leadership

Receive escalations/notifications of physical security and business-impacting events, triage appropriately, and keep regional leadership informed with regular communication. On-call 24x7x365 and travel as needed within or outside the assigned area. Contribute to collaborative efforts with stakeholders to support security capabilities and assist decision-makers in mitigating risks and addressing residual risks; summarize and report risk analysis to internal stakeholders and leaders. Required Qualifications:

4+ years' experience in Security Program or Program Management or related field OR equivalent experience Other Requirements

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Risks or related field AND 8+ years' experience in Security Program or Program Management OR equivalent experience. Industry security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or other relevant security certification. Compensation

The typical base pay range for this role in the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. Some locations have different ranges (e.g., San Francisco Bay Area, New York City metro) with ranges up to USD $206,400 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
