Overview
Flagship is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work out of our corporate office in Southlake, TX. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office per week on site. New hires might be asked to work 4-5 days on site for the first 90 days. Benefits

Provide financial leadership to field operations and corporate teams based throughout the United States. This hands-on role is responsible for financial reporting and analysis. Support new business sales costings, financial planning and forecasting, analysis of existing business through trends, KPIs, and variances, and preparation of annual budgets with recommendations for process improvements. Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and senior teams in decision making; assist senior operational and sales teams in client negotiations and proposals for new and existing contracts; develop relationships with finance contacts of key clients as needed. Partner with Operations to prepare project annual budgets, monthly financial forecasts, support for new business, and provide insight into financial variances. Deliver a strong management review and control process with the Corporate Controller; engage cross-functionally to drive process improvements and automation. Develop internal and external high-quality client-facing reports that measure financial performance and KPIs with context and insight. Ensure understanding of contract performance in P&L and uphold ethical standards to maintain a strong financial control environment; analyze and interpret contractual requirements and evaluate contracts related to projects. Apply general accounting, cost accounting, and financial analysis techniques to solve complex financial and business problems. Support project teams with contract modifications, compliance, payments, reports, and other project duties; analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts; provide support during monthly financial close and prepare journal entries and reconciliations related to projects. Communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Qualifications
5+ years of related managerial finance/analysis experience with strong analytic and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Education: Bachelor’s Degree; CPA or advanced degree preferred Experience in finance within a high-growth multi-state organization; service industry experience is a strong plus Demonstrated technical skills in GAAP, regulatory compliance, internal controls, process improvement, project accounting, job costing, and Workday Finance and Adaptive Demonstrated ability to establish strategic objectives and drive short-term objectives Strong business acumen and ability to identify, analyze, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiencies Accountability, flexibility, collaboration, and ability to lead and inspire teams; drive for results with urgency and adherence to timelines Seniority level
