Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Prepare feasibility study reports based on the site selection for photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage power plants. Assist in handling project approval procedures, including environmental impact assessment permits, construction permits, grid connection agreements, etc. Design layout plans for PV arrays, inverters, booster stations, and other facilities. Collaborate with design institutes to review civil, structural, and water supply and drainage design drawings for power plant infrastructure. Ensure that the design plans comply with national building codes, environmental regulations, grid connection standards, and safety production requirements. Participate in construction clarification meetings, resolve on-site technical issues, and supervise construction quality and adherence to design specifications. Review bill of quantities and participate in the technical evaluation of suppliers and contractors. Assist in addressing unexpected technical issues during power plant construction or commissioning. Participate in on-site inspections of key milestones, such as foundation pouring and bracket installation. Job Requirements
Strong sense of responsibility and accountability. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering design and project management for large-scale photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage power plants. Familiarity with design codes and regulations for PV and energy storage power plants; experience in infrastructure design, construction processes, quality standards, and related management practices. Proficient in the full project lifecycle—from design and development to regulatory approval and commissioning—for PV and energy storage power plants in the U.S. Strong communication, business negotiation, and organizational and coordination skills. Fluent in English (working language) and proficiency in Chinese is preferred. Legal status that allows for long-term work in the United States. Seniority level
